We are a small tutoring business in Maleny, Queensland, offering a wide range of educational services. These include in-home tutoring on the Sunshine Coast, on-site tutoring at our learning hub in Maleny, and various educational support services for our home school community, such as co-op teaching and drop-off days. As a growing business, we continuously explore new and exciting ways to engage children and adults in rich learning opportunities. Position Details:

• Hours: 5 hours per week, Friday 9am-2pm (casual basis to start)

• Location: Maleny, Queensland

• Flexibility: Potential for flexible hours as the role evolves


This position is ideal for a stay-at-home parent who is passionate about being part of a small and supportive team.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

o Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and accurate

records.

o Process payroll for our team of talented tutors.

Customer Service:

o Serve as the first point of contact for current and prospective clients via phone and

email.

o Address inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional service to maintain client

satisfaction.

Scheduling:

o Schedule tutoring sessions, manage tutor calendars, and send appointment

reminders.

Reporting:

o Use Xero to produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

Data Entry:

o Enter and maintain data with a keen eye for detail.

Social Media Management (as the role develops):

o Learn and manage our social media accounts.

o Develop and schedule engaging posts and reels showcasing our services.


Ideal Candidate:

o Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

o Financial Acumen: Comfortable with numbers and attentive to detail.

o Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication with clients and colleagues,

both verbally and in writing.

o Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and eager to learn new tools.

o Positive Attitude and Willingness to Learn: A team player with a "can-do" attitude and

a thirst for knowledge.


Desirable Skills:

o Experience in social media management or content creation.

o Knowledge of Xero reconciliation, payroll, and reports.

o Competence in Canva, Word, and Outlook.

o Passion for education and helping others succeed.
